I use only the keyboard for this game, yes it is possible, and after you beat it the first time, you will find yourself beating it within minutes the next.
Hints.. the achievements as well.
Why port it to pc if they are going to be so lazy with it..
I agree on the not detecting game pad text part, that was unnecessary of them to add, as I don't use one with most of my gaming on the pc.
And that ending "pre-order now" constantly flashing and makes a sound several times, you can't exit out of it either. Talk about being forced to watch it, as if they are telling us that gamers are dense and ignorant, and won't see it.
There are other really cool things in a game they could have used something similar to that on, for the full game, why so much effort to say that at the end of the demo?
Although when you said for every prompt, I'm asuming you ment the QTE's, you can turn those off in the demo and I would asume in the full game when it comes out, a handy feature. As many didn't want QTE's in the game to take it over as if not playing at all, just for the right timing of an attack.
Also, be sure to set your video options to max in the game's options, so that it can look its best.
One other thing I don't get, why don't game companies just do like they did with old games and keep all the really good graphics in game instead of making it a washed down version around the time of the release, simply because of most having an older pc that can't handle the game, when so many have a good pc that don't get what they were shown in videos, they could instead do like in the past and why not have the settings just on the lowest when starting the game, as well as auto detect your pc hardware to set it appropriately and go from there on the default to set it at max manually in the video options if you have a nice pc? This way everyone benefits, old pc users that can't hardly startup the game.. can have it on low settings, and others that do have a nice pc, can just raise the settings in the video options to match the quality when the game was shown in videos... long before the launch of the demo or full version.
There are many games that have had this auto detect and auto set the game video settings, but also if the game notices your hardware anyways, such as your video card for graphics and acceleration for the game, as it would have to, for video output of the game, performance, you know they could make this happen for auto setting a default standard video settings for your pc that can be manually changed, or just do it the easy way and have a default low settings for low end computers, and for everyone when the game starts up, and then that can be manually changed as well for a high end pc, and only has to be set once.. when your game starts up for the first time.
But alot of this was an option already for many older games..
On a side note:
My pc is nice, I would expect maybe some helpful patches in the future for alot of things that could be really cool and graphical, although I'm not all for graphics no, but I just ment my pc can handle it, even with a single gpu, the game already runs like smooth silky butter framerates on max settings all the time, why not patch it up for not just HD textures, but dynamic lighting and depth as well later? I know HD textures and shaders are always an option to be updated, just like a few games the past year in patches, even LoS 1 Ultimate Edition on release with shaders, but I think it would be nice to have some really nice looking dynamic lighting and depth, which I can be patient for in patches.
Don't get me wrong, I like the game's graphics though so far in LoS 2, it would just be nice to have them in patches, which I can have the patience for.
hold U + asd+asd+asd (fast)
Crow Witch's eggs
hold U + asd (slow)
To clarify it's not my system it's a Core i7 4500U 2.8ghz, 8GB DDR3 1600MHz, geForce 750. Even on minimum settings I get these lags.
Managed to pull off like 2 throwbacks only out of 10-15tries without macro.
The titan is a little tricky and I tried it about 30 times and Gabriel always dropped the rock, AAAAHHRRG. I was getting slightly annoyed and wished the programmers to hell.
Funny thing is, at first I managed to throw the rock 2 times and then it simply seemed not to work. So I looked here and found the nice description from Hashirath.
It's irritating that you are said to use ALL direction keys, while you just need asd.
So I managed to beat the titan pretty quick and the crow wasn't a problem at all.
I didn't notice a difference between beating both foes. It should work with holding U + tapping asd quickly. Love this game.
