No shadow power in chapter 3

Hey guys I have a problem,
in the beginning of chapter 3, where I need to use the gauntlet the first time, I can´t do this, because I don´t have any shadow power in the beginning, and don´t ask me why. What can I do to proceed?

there's a wall you can climb to go outside. I believe it's on right side of the statue.

But I need to move the statue first, so I can climb the wall. But I can´t move the statue without shadow power. And there is no resource of neutral energy, which I could collect to get shadow power.

i dont think you need any magic to move the statue. just punch it with the gauntlet to move it. you only need magic when you need to charge up the gauntlet to break the door with the statue.

Then I don´t understand the gauntlet mechanic, because I press the buttons the screen is showing, but the only thing I do is going back from the defend-pose to the normal standing pose.

by right, guard+normal attack is for gauntlet. did you hold the attack button or just press it instantly?

I hold it but I am just quitting the defend-pose. That´s really strange.

a bug, maybe? i just do a quick check about the gauntlet, I can confirm you don't need any magic to use it.

I solved it. It was a bug, because I played the game with my keyboard, and the game does not recognize the attack key, unless it´s on the mouse. But thanks for ouyr help!

Though the other guys on the post are probably right, there IS a way to get more shadow power.

Replay a finished level, and any health/magic/daggers that you get on it will translate right into whatever the next level you play happens to be. Just find a place with a fountain and stock up.

Also, when you get to the Dark Lord of the Lycans, may God have mercy on your soul - especially if you're on "Knight." SAVE A PURPLE CRYSTAL!

Yep, definatly a bug, had to rebind to mouse click to use the gauntlet. problem is that my control setup doesnt work well with that control scheme, this sucks. Hopfully a patch will fix
