Controller Support?
the steam page says that the game has full controller support but the game doesn't recognize my controller lol so? how it works?

i'm using a PS4 controller and the Thrustmaster T-Wireless 3in1- Rumble Force and doesn't work. I have no problems playing other games like dark souls etc but not in this castlevania

any idea?

controller support it talking about is microsoft only which means you need a xbox controller and it work fine , but there are programs to fake it to think your controller is a xbox controller , which ones work i am still in search of my self

When Steam claims something has full controller support, what they really mean is "Supports Xinput" aka 360 controllers.

If the controler works on the PC then this game should support it.

Does anybody here play this game with a controler?
Is there a fix?

Controller is mandatory in my opinion, just not a game that works with mouse/keyboard

For those using a PS4 controller I would recommend a program called InputMapper. Most PC games have native support Xbox 360 controllers, and almost none of them support Playstation controllers, so this just tells the computer you have a 360 pad plugged in so the game can recognize it.

I suggest InputMapper because it's the simplest program I know of; you install it, run it, and plug your controller in. That's it.
You might have to allow it to install a driver, but otherwise the process is automatic, and you can also have it launch in the tray when starting up your computer. It's very easy on your processes too.
The PS3 controller equivalent is called MotionJoy or DS3Tool (the names are interchangeable). This one will have to install special drivers, though, since Windows does not normally support PS3 controllers at all (PS4 is supported, however).

All of this is free, of course.

I cant speak for the program Larry mentioned but I was able to connect my PS4 controller to my PC and use it for this game.

I used a program called DS4 http://ds4windows.com/#howto
As recomended by PCGamer http://www.pcgamer.com/the-best-controller-for-pc-gaming/

It allowed me to configure the PS4 controller to my PC and convince the PC its a XBOX1 controller which PC Gamer states works with almost all PC automatically.(I dont know,I dont have XBOX!)and even uses the DualShock

People are so cheap, buy a Xbox PC controller, and be done with it.

Yeah I broke down and bought the wireless XBOX 360 controller for Windows. $35

It is much better and easier to use.
Especially when the game displays what buttons to push in XBOX fashion.
