This issue was discussed in many threads in the past for castlevania: lords of shadow ultimate edition, I used to have this issue as well, and then it was gone, I don't know or remember why.
Many players had this issue though, I had this issue on my keyboard when it came out on pc in 2013, supposedly it is from the game being old from 2010, and the controller support after porting/converting the game from the consoles over to the pc, was the issue, because of the game being old, they were too lazy to fix and update the game controls for the pc version.
I don't remember how or if they fixed it, or how others have fixed it as well, but I still use the keyboard with the game.
Also, about your steam cloud settings for each game in steam, the settings are saved for your controller support settings as well, try enable/disable the steam cloud, even saves for games are in that.
I have a guide for anything else you need, located in a thread, in the castlevania: lords of shadow ultimate edition forum, just click the links in the thread, to get to the guide.
can you send me the link plz?
That's not why others are having the controller issue where the player will continue to attack, it is a game issue from porting it over, and it was an issue with key mapping.. where you hold 2 keys at once and then try to attack a few times, the character will then start to attack and jump around for a short time, as my game is maxed and perfectly smooth with a nice pc, along with any other game that I play, the issue was only with this game and then the issue was gone months later after the release last year on pc for the ultimate edition. Most players have smooth graphics maxed out.
But for the solution that you mentioned, those with older hardware that can't handle max settings, will of course benefit from lowering the graphics settings, but that's obvious when testing each game.
I remember those days, as I had slower hardware for many years in the past, never had the latest pc hardware, but I custom built a new pc just like I have in the past with other pc's.
Here you go, sorry that it sends from one link to the next.
Just click on the big pictures that says "fix", to get to the guide. =)

The guide won't fix the controller issues, but it can fix many other game issues, not just for this game, even pc issues. =)
how can fix my problem with keys ?
When I was visiting some of the threads a long time ago, some said they changed keys in game, or used other sources and programs for their controllers. You can google search some programs, I don't remember the names, but I am sure someone will come along to help you with that.
For now, google search "castlevania: lords of shadow ultimate edition on pc controller key issues".
Also google search "castlevania lords of shadow ultimate edition on pc controller programs".
can you write down how to fix plz?
There's nothing missing on the links that I gave, try a different browser, or download java and flash latest versions, which you can find in my guide as well.
Just google search java latest version, and only download it from the official site.
Also you can download the latest flash player from adobe.com, these programs are free to install, and all websites for years have used either java or flash, or sites use both.
Make sure you have the latest version of internet explorer 11 also, before you download java and flash latest versions.
When you install flash player, be sure to get both the activex and the plugin, 2 different downloads, you will need both of them, one for internet explorer, the other for steam.
After you do all of that, then click the link I have for the guide.
do you have by any cahnce elderscroll online?
i bought 2 days ago and i can't play , i got from a website that even don't know how to help me.
Be sure to list your system specs here, by going to the top of steam, click on help - system information, hold your mouse down in the text, drag and outline all of it, all the way down, or from the bottom to the top, once outlined.. right click on the outlined text, click copy, and then right click in a new comment in here, and click paste.
If your system is compatible enough with games, then the guide I have should do the rest.
It doesn't fix controller issues, there's no need to put that in the guide, as the guide wasn't meant for just this game, as well as a controller issue would be kind of rediculous to add as a solution for a fix in a guide.
Also there are alot of gamers that have other games, they won't want to read about a controller issue in the guide if they don't use a controller or if their pc is doing something else.
If you read threads back on other pages in this forum, you might find a solution for the keyboard issue, as this was talked about before.
