a true game
hey guys,

I recently searched for vampire themed games, watched some videos and after some quick google checks decided I would pick up castlevania: los. I got the ultimate edition for just under 5€ and I'm now roughly one and a half hours in and I love it so much. the game, the setting, the music, like man and the story telling and lore. it just seems so superior to newer games. I'm rly looking forward to uncover more of this game and collect all the beautiful artworks. if you're looking for a story based game, dark setting and some puzzle elements, def give this one a try ;D

ps. mechanics and story telling/the way it plays reminds me a little of the first tomb raider of the new trilogy, mby that helps

Since we know a new Castlevania is in the making, i'm in a Castlevania Marathon, I'm replaying some of my favorite Castlevania games, like Super Castlevania, Circle of the Moon Aria of Sorrow...

I know Lords of Shadow since I played it back in the days on the Xbox 360, and I just bought it back on Steam with its sequel, and playing it again, it's so good.

The tragic tale of a man, Gabriel Belmont, who lost everything, and now takes every risk to save humanity, without receiving anything in return. The game may have aged a bit in its mechanics, but the story, the soundtrack, the voice acting... the whole thing gives chills...

I've never played the sequel, at the time of its release, it had not been very well noted, precisely because of the old-fashioned beat em all gameplay, but it's time to give these Castlevania reboots the love they deserve!
