Controller help. ps4

So im about a 4th of the way through this game now, ive been using my ps4 controller with no problem. I had ds4 for videos. I have seen Ds4 have errors before and had to restart it to get my controller working again. But I was just about to beat the first lord of shadow and all of a sudden my controller stopped working for no reason. I have tried everything ive restarted ds4 unplugged and replugged my ps4 controller into everyport turned the game off and back on and it just will not recognize my controller anymore even though its working fine with any other game I play.

you need to use a universal game controller and make sure you install the drivers.

I had many problems too with the PS4 controller.

I hate to say it but I broke down and bought the XBOX 360 controller for Windows.

Nope; most controllers won't work, only those based off the 360 controller.

However, you can use a controller emulator to use a proper controller with it- just make sure you turn vibration off (through the emulator, not the game), otherwise the emuator causes the game to crash at a few points (notably when fighting the spiders).
