Should I buy this game or Shadows of mordor.
Well any advice would be nice so I can finally order and play all the games I got from this summer bundle. (This looks intersting as good as shadows but its cheaper shadows is 12.49..)

Both are good but if I had to chose I would go with LoS. Don't get me wrong, SoM is a great game but it can get a bit monotone after a while even with the warchief system, wich is pretty cool. But LoS is just epic and has one of the hardest boss fights ever (The Forgotten One) and the storyline is simply beautiful.

SoM, its gonna be boring after a while, but it doesnt try to be a million things at once while failing at most of them.

I can admit that SoM can get a bit repetitive after a while if you dont spice it up yourself. I havent played this one.. its not on Linux. **** I wish it was though! Buy this one.

I like this one better, but I am a HUGE Castlevania nerd. The gameplay, story, voice acting in this is really great--though some of the platforming gets annoying.

Shadows of Mordor is a lot of fun too, but if you've played Assassin's Creed you'll start to get tired of it rather quickly as even the nemesis system doesn't differentiate it that much.

I'd have to say Lord of Shadows is kind of like a God of War game (that statement is opening a can of worms for Castlevania fans) while Mordor is an openish world, Assassin's Creed type game.

This game is a lot of fun and can be very challenging, however, because of the poorly implemented fixed camera, the platforiming is absolutely terrible, sometimes the camera shifts mid air and you have to adjust your direction accordingly, it's a mess. Other than that, this game has a more engaging story and some of the environments are gorgeous. Shadow of Mordor is a great looking game if your rig can max it out, and it plays nice and smooth, however, there' isn't much to it if you're looking for a good story. The devs put a lot of effort into combat, animations, and graphics, everything else feels like an afterthought. There are only two maps, and while the graphics are really good, the maps are quite bland and everything looks pretty much the same. There's an interesting nemesis system but I can see how it can get old real fast for some people. In short, if you want to feel like a badass and wanna be a kiling machine for orcs, get SoM. If you want a game with diverse environments with a darker tone and don't mind some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ platforming sections, get LoS.

SoM is quite repetetive but if you are a fan of lotr then it's a big yes on buying that one coz it's one of the better singleplayer hack and slash lotr games out there. But I find it unfair to compare it to assassins creed when it's imo more like the Batman Arkham games especially the combat.

I have yet to finish LoS but like previous poster wrote, the camera shifts are mess. The game is quite boring at first but you start unlocking new things in a fast pace at the end of act 2 and forward that adds a bit more combat variations. LoS also forces you to explore areas coz it doesn't hold your hands all the time by showing "GO THERE! THATS THE WAY!" and sometimes I find myself stuck at one place for like 5 - 10 minutes because I have no idea where to go.

If you can afford it then buy both. If you can only buy one of them then buy the one that seems the most fun to your interests.
