Nope, no overclock, other 3d games run fine with no glitches...
Could it be something wrong with Nvidia Physx since the card is AMD?
EDIT: I've tried now reinstalling the Physx runtimes and doing more tinkering with settings, somehow it improved the situation but I still get glitches.
Some levels are completely playable while others are a complete mess, I'm now at the spiders cave in area 2 and the background at the beginning is flat orange and get random solid spikes instead of ray of lights :(
Already updated to the latest 21.3.2 :( Thanks anyway for trying to help~
I've also have some graphic driver crashes since the last update.
21.3.2
21.3.1
20.11.2
20.9.1
20.4.2
20.1.3
19.12.2
And It's still the same.
Game used to work perfect before (about two months ago), right now it's unplayable.
I've spent a couple of hours messing with in game settings, Radeon settings and PhysX dlls, I think I've found a combination of things that doesn't give me glitches (revisited some levels that always glitched and they were fine).
I'll try to explain what I did.
In the /bin game folder I backed up:
* PhysXCooking.dll
* PhysXCore.dll
* PhysXLoader.dll
* cudart32_30_9.dll
Installed the latest PhysX drivers from here: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/physx/physx-9-19-0218-driver/
Then I went to the installation folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\NVIDIA Corporation\PhysX)
Copied all files from the /Common folder in the game directory, overwriting the old ones
Made a copy of cudart32_65.dll overwriting cudart32_30_9.dll.
Started copying all files that weren't present from the various folders in the /Engine directory. I've probably copied a lot of unnecessary stuff here, like various APEX_*.dll and an ImplicitLibs folder (don't know what I'm doing >.<).
Tested various alternatives for PhysXCore.dll and ended up keeping the highest version that doesn't crash the game, which was the one in the "B1E4CC1EB042" folder, version 2.8.4.11).
Game folder now looks like this: https://i.imgur.com/RlgFmcK.png
Then I've tried various radeon settings until I've settled with this: https://i.imgur.com/elsv2TG.png (sorry it's in italian)
In game I've put everything maxed with vsync on.
If you want I can make a zip file with the PhysX dlls, probably there's a lot of unnecessary stuff, maybe the dlls from the /Common folder and the PhysXCore.dll from the B1E4CC1EB042 folder are enough but now I'm tired of trying :p
I'll keep experimenting with physx libs, maybe... most probalby I'll end up uninstalling it and move on to another game haha
Anyway have a nice time and thanks for the contribution :D
I know this because I have multiple systems (RX560, RX570, Nvidia etc...) and game runs fine under Linux, Ubuntu, with Valves Proton.
Linux and Windows users downloads 100% the same game files.
I don't know how receptive they are with fixing stuff for old games but maybe if enough people point this out they will look into it and issue a fix.
Edit: yeah, going window mode then fullscreen again, before you start a game, seems to really fix it. After a while, it will appear again in a new level, then you have to restart and do the windowed-fullscreen thing again.
Settings->Update and Security->Windows Update->View update history-> delete and find Security Update for Microsoft Windows(KB5001330)
game will start in window mode then in settings choose fullscreen
