lol if u juggle with dark and light magic you will practically have full life always no need to turn on anything just need to keep an eye on him when hes red u use blue light magic i hope it helps

I liked puzzles but chapter 14 was terrible, very bad platforming with very bad boss design.

Are 13 and 14 th Forgotten Chapters because I got to that dude and I just couldn't beat the last phase - i'm hoping if I go back and get all the remaining gems I might stand a chance. It's silly how ridiculous he is to beat and there is no hp or magic refills.

having all of the gems is an plus, as per boss checkpoint you get half health when you die and restart at the checkpoint.
hes beatable with half health, but even if you have less its doable.
as aslong as you mainly hit when you know there is an opening you have it, since the checkpoints restore health.
hopefully your able to beat him, it takes getting use to his various attacks and mainly attacking when you know he wont counter, and dodging everything else.

in past games there have been far worse then this boss, but he is pretty freaking tough.
which leads to the dodge hell, which means dodge like crazy.
legend of zelda skyward sword finalboss was like that, i ended up with 1 half of a heart left and only won due to dodgeing nonestop.
the 3rd birthday , last parasite eve game is dodge hell also kinda, and only gets worse the higher diff.
