Should I play the Lords of Shadow series before or after watching the Netflix series

I'd recommend playing LoS with all its dlcs first then watch both seasons on netflix. As chronologically and without spoilers, LoS takes place before Dracula even exists. Mirror of Fate and LoS2 take place after the netflix series but isn't absolutely 100% linked to it so you can effectively do whichever you feel first without missing anything extremely important.

I just recommend it this way because I feel that'll give you the best building blocks for an amazing story, if that's what is important to you.

My own opinion is it doesn't really matter since LoS (1 & 2) are an alternate or separate Castlevania timeline with numerous little references/nods/easter eggs to the original series. In a way LoS and the Netflix series can share a continuity but it's not "official" if you care about that.

I do (retrospectively) agree with Zetsugan that LoS 1 then the Netflix series can make one great story though.

Bc the show is better than the games, sadly. There should be a full blown, Castlevania RPG done like the Witcher IDC come on Konami. I tollerate the games ONLY bc of the show lol

Actually Lords of Shadow 1 is really good if u have a decent gaming PC and can run it in 4K.

I just played it in UWS and it was amazing. I didn't like the second LOS for the one reason i play these games, Light vs Dark... If you're going to BE Dracula then what's the point? But if you don't care about details as much as myself then LOS 2 should be a great game! I have alot of respect for Mercury Steam as they created their own engine for these games.
