Is there character creation?

the kickstarter goal was not reached, but the devs have said there will be limited creation options. I'm unsure of how limited it will be, or if it will be changed later on.

Pretty sure they've said just hair color can be customized, but I could be misremembering

Regarding campaign goals that have not been realized yet, such as character customization and multiplayer, I have good news. We will ensure at least simple character customization features like skin colors, and we will gradually update more anticipated content in future releases.

My lord the more I see missing from the game the less excited I am for this, and I was super looking forward to it as well.....

I definitely think there needs to be some sort of variety in terms of hairstyles. Even just 2 or 3 different ones (with long and short hair options) paired with colour options would do a lot to allow people to add some sort of personality to their character. It really doesn't have to be much more than that, I think.

I'll be honest, character customization in a game like this should have been base, not a stretch goal, imagine if you were stuck with a default character in Stardew, Harvest Moon, or Story of Seasons. Character customization has been standard in farming sims for a long time, especially ones that feature romance. The only bigger name outliers I can think of are Rune factory, but that's also 50% an RPG too
