Sorry to hear about this.
This sounds like it could be a system conflict or issue with Steam.
To rule Steam out, please cleanly exit and then restart Steam.
If the issue is still occurring, it might be that there is an issue with some of the games local data. To fix this, please follow the steps below:
- Launch Steam
- Navigate to the ‘Library’ tab and locate Superfrog HD
- Right click on Superfrog HD and select the option ‘Properties’ at the bottom
- In the newly opened properties window, please navigate to the ‘Local Files’ tab
- Please select and run the last option in this menu, ‘Verify Integrity Of Game Cache’
If you're still having issues at this point, it may be the case that there is a conflict between the game and your ArchLinux distro, which we don't officially support.Thank you,
BenTeam17
Thanks.

Could you please check your processes and a terminal output of what's going on.
Knowing whether the issue is occurring before the Superfrog HD shell script runs would be a big help. To figure this out, please follow the instructions below and get back to me when possible:

I did exactly as you asked, and here is the output from the terminal:

I couldn't find the core file, but I think the above output is the same.
Thanks for getting back with this information.
It looks as though you're running into a known issue with language and system configurations that conflict with the game.
