Geetting ready to the Medusa-like boss (need tips)

So, I've been away from the game for a very long time (half an year, more or less), but now I seriously want to finish it. I stopped mainly bc Zera said I'd need lots of antidotes for this boss and I was so lazy to farm the materials... And then I finally get to farm them, but I don't have enough level to make the damn potion... So, first of all, is there any place in this castle where they sell potions? I do have one poison reduction on my inventory (medium flask, I think), but that's obviously not enough. And then, where's a good place to farm exp and what lv. do I need to make the poison reduction? (I don't remember any of this and I actually spent half an hour to an hour the other day getting used to the castle again)

I personally hate using potions in this game, it really takes to much time. For this boss, you have to avoid almost all poison bolts, that's all.
Maybe one, or two potions is enough.
Also, the more heads you kill, the easier it gets, so you really should try to do it without potions

I managed to get rid of most heads a few times and I lowered its HP quite a lot, then it started releasing those ghosts or w/e. I just have to jodge them as well?

I use heat aura scrolls (or spell if i have it, it's faster), but care, they need 2 shots of the aura to die, so you need to move a bit, or they will hit you before dying.
I think you can buy those scrolls at the zoran shop

of course, using the scroll at the good moment is crucial, to not be interrupted
