Certainly worth a shot. How might i do this?
Even if you only move it one or two levels ( i think there are 8 levels) it would help your people wait longer to eat, maybe only once or twice a day, Or once every few days.
Animals eat more often but there are mods for that if you like that will help regulate it so the animals don't eat quite so often.
In the beginning of the game eating sometimes becomes almost impossible, especially in the wilds. But cities are easier. And you can mine ore (iron or copper or both) and sell the ore to the bars and use the money for supplies and food and even save to buy a building and the building materials to build it. That is the official accepted way of starting a game and using the wanderer start that puts you in the Hub city is a easier start than say the one that drops you into middle of the desert.
But importing your own game will let you keep things almost exactly as they are now and you can adjust the hunger rate so it is not so over-whelming while you are starting out.
Hope this helps,
Take care,
Teal
