Do not enable them, they can cause issues with your game!
Instead of google, try searching in the forum. then you would have gotten an answer to your question already as there are many of the exact same questions here.
but thanks for the info. I will go start a new game now, with those mods disabled.
rebirth mod search results.
this is not the first time that I have been schooled by this excellent moderator
I also, just yesterday started using the "experimental" build, so there's alot of changes. Actually, it's very nice. But I miss my old Character, the Pig.
Unless your saves got deleted somehow they are compatable accross the regular and experimental builds. Just import to new save after you upgrade to experimental.
uh, while we are at it, can anyone reccommend some nice mods? I've gotten the "play as a cannibal" mod working, and it's 100% different from starting as I usually do with 1 guy and 1000 bucks.
My play style,
Slow and opportunistic... I'll make a long term plan (like, hey a castle would look great on that hill, but gotta put a village there first, and 12 hours later I've got a little mote and bailey thing going.
I also set the damage multiplier as high as possible (x4, I have to do alot of reloads anyway, no matter this setting) becasue I want my fight scenes to look like 2 gangs going at it from a Zatoichi (Festival of Fire, by far the best film and awesome for tatoo enthusiasts) movie. I'd set the damage multiplier even higher if I could.
Not a problem, imglad your saves didnt magicly dissappear like mine did. :(
As for mods Neko's larger/stronger npc's mod is nice if your system can handle it. Personally though I just make my own for myself though i might publish them on Nexus at some point.
