Recruit Prisoners mod

So I have captured a few shek warriors and as I have read it shouldnt be that hard to recruit them but the problem is I cant even talk to them? I have beaten them up and tried to take them out of the cage and then back in didnt work. Does anyone know what the problem is that I cant talk to these Shek warriors?

I would try saving and loading, making sure the're not marked as 'Kidnapped', using a different character (maybe their race or gender effects it showing up), seeing how your characters strength/combat stats compare to theirs (maybe it's a thing where you can only speak to them if your character is a "warrior" type-thing).

It might just be a bug with the mod, though.

I looked into the Recruitable Prisoners Progress Sheet [docs.google.com] and it does say that Shek Warriors should be recruitable, but inconveniently the spreadsheet provides no Hints in regards to actually hiring them or any of the Shek included. All the Shek NPCs included in the list are in the same 'Shek Warrior' package so if we knew how to hire one it would most likely work for all the rest.

Looking through the Bug Reports discussion on the mod's page, some people are suggesting that any mods that change or affect the NPC in question may break their recruitability. I would try moving the recruitable prisoners mod in the load order to try and override those other mods if any, or running a new game with just the recruitable prisoners mod active and see if it works then.

Other than that it is probably just a bug with the mod and should be reported in the Bug Reports discussion page, as other people there seem to be having similar issues and I saw at least one report specifically about Shek Warriors.

The conditions for the Shek warrior package are: He must be unarmed, he must be outnumbered, and you must be stronger than him.

I can't 100% confirm if it works, but those are what the conditions should be. I'm guessing either you don't outnumber him, or the stronger than him condition isn't working as you expect it.

what do you mean by outnunber him? not enough Characters or what?

I assume you must have more characters in your squad than his squad does, if he has one. The conditions in the FCS are not exactly detailed very well, so it's just guessing based on the name.
