Ragdoll / Play Dead toggle (halp)
I wanna make a seemingly very simple mod.
The option to add a keybind and function that allows you to ragdoll or go into play dead mode at the press of a button.. that's it.

But I can't seem to find anything on ragdolling or playing dead on the forgotten construction set, would anyone be able to help me out?

(I'm also not good at modding)

I heavily doubt this is a possible function, but I could be wrong.
This is not possible as can not make new keybinds and play dead is associated with toughness and other factors.

Well, since it's a function that's triggered by something, you just have to add another thing that can trigger it.. I doubt it's impossible, few mods are impossible if you're good enough, and this seems far too simple to need to be "good", I understand that I'm saying this with very little experience, but seriously, if it can already happen in game, all that needs to be done is find what causes the state of ragdoll and bind it to a key... put simply
It depends on what's available in the FCS, and these options are not in it. there is no way to force play dead.
you can force ragdoll physics but that's with carrying..

Forcing ragdoll physics is really all I'm looking for
it wont toggle play dead though, and like i said, its done via carry, someone has to carry them.

I'm suuuuure there's another way, if that one guy who made Kenshi can make people ragdoll/play dead, then I'm sure the community can.

Like c'mon, this is obviously not impossible
if we had access to the code, maybe, but we don't, sorry, but if tis not in the FCS, then we cant mod it.
sorry but some things truly are impossible to mod.

I'm sure there's a cheesy way around it...

Like maybe when you press the button, an invisible player picks you up in 1 tick, then disappears, leaving you a ragdoll until you get up, or maybe it sets your hunger to 80 then puts it back, so that you pass out from malnutrition..

Or it just sets your health perfectly so that you're unconscious for the shortest amount of time possible.. idk
Maybe with Bethesda modding tools you can do that.
But Kenshi is very limited in comparison. Everything that's not in the FCS. Is locked in the code.

Here's where the inputs are. We're not going to be doing much with them as we cannot access the base code.

But yes there is a way around this technically if you're just wanting to KO without excessive injury, but it'd also troll the player hard. Essentially either having an item which causes you to ragdoll when nearly KO or just having the player ragdoll when nearly KO without an item.

Or the goat tactic of just KOing when the player gets into combat.

Hm TwT seems like it would be more inconvenient than useful.. but thank you, this is at least progressive
