Nothing can be done unfortunately, short of seeing if it has a Nexus version or something. :/

omg that sucks QQ Ive looked around and cant find it anywhere else.. Wonder why they would do that... It has been up for years! So random... and realy sucks for anybody who had been using it. Man that's scary, over 100 hours of a playthrough can be Destroyed by mod authors taking down there mods at random.. Imean i think i can just give them all default hair again, But if it happens to be a bigger mod..

Can always back up the files locally. So that it can't automatically remove them completely. Otherwise yeah, it can really hurt a user when a mod gets removed. Not the first time I've seen it, and likely not the last.

Hmm,I guess we should back up this folder: Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/233860.
Looks like you can just rename the workshop folder and stick them in your mods folder.
Shidan?

Indeed. Though it will no longer apply updates automatically. So it's best to use the workshop versions, and just back them up from time to time in case something happens.

Can anyone get in touch with the author? Im on the same boat as karma. And besides that was the best hair mod hands down. It's gonna be a pain going to the plastic surgeon like 30 times.
