I've explained the process here:

Though to check statuses from mod characters, you'd need to also copy those over to your local mods folder, as explained here by Cattrina.

Using the two of those, you'd be able to identify the statuses of any unique NPC in your save, and edit their status. Though as mentioned in my post linked above, if the character exists in the world anywhere, their status will be overridden based on what their status actually is.
For instance, if they are imprisoned somewhere in the game, and you flag them as dead, it's not going to kill them, it will simply flag them as imprisoned again. It can only be used to change the status of characters that don't physically exist anymore.
I will also say, Living World has in the past had numerous issues with assigning word state NPCs as prisoners in certain overrides, without accounting for the fact that changes their default status to imprisoned even if the override has not triggered. And doing so routinely breaks world states used by other mods, which is why I list Living World as incompatible despite its own claims to the contrary.
Oh boy, i see. Thought it would be simpler. The world state checker you included in RW is super helpful, I wish every mod had one.
I was hoping to bring back Deadcat, but aside from that I am not actually that bothered about the outcomes of overrides.
After I removed the Grand Wizard from Deadcat town, the ownership changed to "Cannibal Remnants", instead of Deadcat faction. I don't know which mod causes this world state. As part of UWE, there is supposed to be a faction leader for Deadcat living in Deadcatun (Ghost Town), but he is nowhere to be found. He needs to be alive for the override.
I suspect that LW is causing most of my issues regarding world states. I like the mod for all the little improvements it offers and Kenshi wouldn't be the same without it, but there are definitely downsides to using it in combination with RW. But that's my own fault for being too indecisive to choose :)
Before i dive too deep into this, i may try to change the load order and then import to see if it fixes some of my headaches.
At present I am using
UWE
RW
LW
RW-UWE patch
LW-UWE patch
Moving RW below LW might help prevent future issues with states, but I guess it won't do much to fix the problems I have already created. But it's good to know I have the option to still mess around with the save file.
