Workshop Mods not working after Moving Install Folder to SSD
Hello yes,

Unfortunately, my workshop mods have stopped working after transferring Kenshi to my SSD from my HDD. All my mods still appear as subscribed when I look them up on the workshop, but just simply do not appear in the game. I have Steam downloaded on my HDD so I'm sure that has something to do with my dilemma. Perhaps others have had this issue? Looking for solutions please.

Restart steam., You may have to reassociate the drive as well under steam options.

Hey, my apologies man. I did manage to fix the issue, but I do not remember how as it's been a while. If you manage to figure it out though, please do come back and share your solution to help out others.

Edit: Actually now that I think about it, after I installed my SSD, my Operating System kept giving me issues so I ended up having to wipe everything and reinstall my OP along with the rest of my applications. Doing this also solved my issues with Steam, though I'm not sure if a system wipe (or at least a Steam wipe and reinstall) is something you'd be willing to do.

It's fixed now, but honestly couldn't say what it was, restarted steam, my PC and the game many times, deleted and reinstalled the mods but nothing changed... then one day at least a week later the mods just worked.
I can't point to anything in particular, except persistence!

Hey just moved Kenshi to my new M.2 and I fixed the problem for myself and thought I'd share. For me the mods were reset to be turned off in the launcher, similar to how some games reset their volume in the windows volume mixer when you move it, some data isn't derived from the original file. so double check your mods tab in the launcher when you're troubleshooting this problem.

I noticed that at the beginning, too, but unfortunately it doesn't work for me.
Likewise reinstall has brought nothing.

I have left the whole so in which I have all mods Manuel unsubscribed and subscribed via the Workshop page.

Hope that helps!

Unsubscribe, delete the folder in the old location if its still there and the new, then resubscribe. If that doesn't work, nuke the entire install - uninstall and delete any mod folders you can find. Reinstall and resub. It's not a big game to download.
