Automaking Skeleton Repair Kits
How can you automate making skeleton repair kits?
You've got 5 items to make including the skeleton repair kit.
My characters are not automatically moving parts from the workbench outout into the input of the next item. For example, putting a motor from output into the input to make the item that needs a motor. They'll also grab multiple steel bars, for example, and put them all in instead of one at a time. This leaves leftover in the next items input column. They will not remove those multiple items to place the next ingredient in the input column. How do I Automate? Do I make 5 separate benches so each part is made idividually? Even if that's the case, they wont remove the item from the output automatically, and place it in the input of another bench. Maybe i'm missing something?

you should make runs of one part and stock pile it, ocne all the amts are gone then switch to the mext one. or.. build multipe work benches., which is what i do.

also not all the parts have storage, so you have to manualy move it
You have to manually do it!? That sucks. Are there any other items that can be automated that are as expensive? Skeleton repair kits are the best to sell, theyre light weight, small for inventory size, and worth a boat load.
What else could i make that able to be automated?

currently does not work, even with robotics storage.

i've even tried having multiple robotics storage points and a seperate repair kit bench for each piece of the run. still nothing. I even tried setting them to automatically haul to the crafting bench.

nothing.

this has been an issue for me since many versions where they don't grab certain things from the robotics bench.. i had to build a single bench for every robotics component and eventually gave it up and just bought them instead..

I tried it the other day and had no problems with it.

I set up a machine on infinite for each part. Then I selected one unit and prioritized the order to make the parts so the final step was the kit itself.

The crappy thing is makign the kits raises your science skill and not robotics, go figure, lol.
