Characters doesn't load

I was playing normally, but when I load my last save, my characters for some reason didn't spawn, I have no one in my squad. If I load older files I have my characters but I lost progress

before loading your save, try checking the relocate squad check box

I would suggest just loading the old save. But if you'd like, you can try uploading the save so I can take a look. Sometimes the characters are missing due to file naming issues, and their data is still present in the save and can be restored. This only works if the game was not saved again after the issue happened though, as with another save it will purge what it thought of as unnecessary data.

You can upload the save to a service like dropbox or google drive, then post the link here.

Saves can be found here by default, you may need to enable viewing of hidden files and folders in Windows before you can see the appdata folder.
