Green Checkerboard

After the update I fired up my game and there's a green checkerboard overlaying everything. Anyone know what that is?

No it went away when I reloaded. It was litterally like a green checkerboard overlay across the screen, slightly opaque, and not covering the GUI.

Did all those things. It seems since the update when I start the game it's a toss of the dice whether or not those green boxes appear.

Being in Windowed mode can cause those squares. Go into your video settings and check full screen and do a restart.

Green Checkerboard Bug?

Just imported my squad into a new game, after the last overhaul update. There's some sort of bizaar green "Checker board" overlay over my screen. Not the HUD, but the actual in-game environment. What causes this and how do I get rid of it?

I had this same problem, no one seemed to care. They claimed it was a bugged install, but reinstalls don't fix it. It happens 9/10 loads/imports, but not on any "new games" or "loads" from new games where the bug isn't presently occurring.

i actually found some info on this.
its not a fix because one, its from a different game but its the same issue.

OSX: Might be seeing some kind of “checkerboard” graphics. Try latest_experimental_u52 (stable_u52 when non-experimental released) build from Steam.

Now we don't have that build sicne its from 7 Days to Die but it seams to be a Win 10 issue.
ill keep an eye out for more information but least now we might have a culprit of what causes the problem. which in time may lead to a fix.

Strange graphical bug

Whenever I tab out and tab back into the game, the game would suddenly have a red and green checkerboard tint as if the screen had cracked, and the skybox would be gone. I tried playing the game in windowed, fullscreen and borderless. I meet the minimum requirements.
