How to get stone mine recipe?

I dont see the stone mine anywhere in my build menu, and i cant seem to research it either? I can research IMPROVED stone mine, but it seems odd to need to research that when i dont even have the basic stone mine yet.

If you take a normal game start you start with the tech researched. However if you take Freedom Seekers you must research it in the "Building Materials" research.

Which start did you take? And if you did take Freedom Seekers, do you have the research I mentioned available?

i started with default wanderer if i remember correctly.

Use the arrow keys on the stone mine build page. If you've researched better ones the default one shown is the best one available so you have to scroll through them to pick the lower grade ones if that's the one you want to build.

My point was that i had no option to build or research the standard stone mine.

Best guess would be that you have a mod that tries to add some research to the game start, without realizing by doing so it overrides the default tech, preventing you from getting them.

As it's working fine in vanilla for me, no matter which start I pick.

No mods or anything, this was my first time playing the game in a couple years. Not a huge deal now that i know i can just research the improved stone mine, but was frustrating not knowing how to even get the basic one.
