Phoenix does not acknowledge death of Stone Golem

I withstood the Golem's onslaught, captured her, and put her in a Peeler Machine. I go to the Phoenix. He tells me to go to the Insquisitor. I go to the Inquisitor. He acknowledges it, takes her limbless body, and dumps it outside the Inquisitorium after paying me 25000 cats. I pick up her body and put it in a cage. The Inquisitor tells me to return to the Phoenix. I return to the Phoenix.

And the Phoenix does not acknowledge the death of the Golem. I ask him if we can finally take the war to the United Cities. He says the Shek must be dealt with first. I ask him how I can help against the Shek. He tells me to capture the Golem's daughter and gives me (for the fourth time) another seal.

But I had already captured Seto and delivered her to the Inquisitor (hence the Golem's raid). I can receive infinite seals from the Phoenix by continually asking him how I can help against the Shek, but he refuses to acknowledge the Golem's death, and so refuses any suggestion of taking the war to the United Cities.

Help me, brothers and sisters!

Sorry, somehow missed the previous comment.

Saves are located in this folder:
Steam\steamapps\common\Kenshi\save

Simply zip up the folder for the save that you want to upload and post it on a service like dropbox or google drive, then paste the link here for the devs to access. :)

Do you know how likely it is I will be hearing about this any time soon? Or does it take a while? It's just I'm putting that save on hold at the moment in the hopes I can find a way to rectify it soon, but if it's likely to take a while then I will take the story in a different direction for now :P

It depends. If they don't need anything else from you, they generally don't respond much. But it really depends on how complex the problem is as well as what else is competing for their attention.

It might be worth posting a screenshot of your dialog log from after the conversation (open the map menu, it's one of the tabs in there) as well, to allow the devs to see where exactly it went wrong for you.

Other than that, nothing much you can do besides wait unfortunately.
