Registration key not working

So I just got the game booted it up a few times and nothing seemed to happen it would launch and close, how could I fix this issue?

make sure your antivirus is not blocking it.

All I have is Windows Defender, it never pulled up the fire-wall settings/alerts.
In the past I tried to get Family share for the game and it pulled up the registration key like it is now.

I uninstalled the game and deleted the folder, reinstalled it and it still has the error.

then need log files
Kenshi.txt or Kenshi_info.txt or even the save.txt log files.

please zip them up and upload them. how to posted below.

if the game did not create one, then zip up and upload the kenshi.txt or the Kenshi._info.txt, and save.txt file after the game crashes and before you restart it.

Any free cloud storage service should be acceptable long as it offers free access to the data for non registered users.

I looked in the entire game for the .txt files I could not find anything.

Is it possible that you could give me another copy of the game? I scanned the integrity of the game's files twice and it seemed that none of them are missing to the scan, is it possible that because I tried to get family share for the game once that it messed with the product key?

giving another copy would not solve the issue.
and i do not have that authority anyways.

and not sure on the family share. as i have never used it
maybe try reinstalling everything in the Kenshi dependencies folder


can suggest going through the pinned topics in this bugs forum and try some of them and see if they can do anything.

So I tried going to a older version of the game and it worked, went back to the newer one and I launched the .exe its self. got the error "mfc100u.ddl", the file was missing.

suggest a google search for that file and what it takes to fix it.

Hey I fixed it, so mfc100u.dll runs many things, I followed this guy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NDaUpp3O8Lc It seemed to fix the issue!
