Item storage
Is storing items in containers in npc towns persistant, or will they get deleted/taken?
I want a place to store items, but I'm not ready to settle down and build a settlement yet.

i have had issues when buying a place in town, like all the shop owners disapear so you cant buy from them any more. so i personaly would not recomend that you buy a place in town to store your stuff.

I don't mean buy a place to store stuff. Although I have done it and encountered the bugs you said. I mean just putting your things in containers in npc owned buildings. For example a shed full of empty chests, which is pretty common..

dont know.
havnt seen any building where i can put my stuff if i didnt own the box.
but if you own the box then the items should stay there indefiantly

shop dont work atm but i think if you got counters in and you put the items in the counters they should go up for sale same as weapon and armour stands and could do with a food and water storage also for shops

sales are slated for a future update, belive its a small bit after walls are re added to the game
