what crafting station do i use to make drifters boots? i bought the research, and the leather crafting bench does not show them.

Some of the armour especially the light armour wasn't implemented til late, or is still waiting to be implemented.
I haven't tried it myself to craft these. But maybe they're not in just yet.

you have to research them after adding it.
one of my old saves i could tell you but i havnt imported it into the new Patch yet.

i did full research on them. i thought i had made them before in earlier versions.

another thing i noticed was advanced weapon bench cant make lower tier weapons and you cannot craft a first tier weapon bench after researching the advanced.

When Drifter Boots were first introducted to the game they were buyable but not craftable. If you're having issues it's probably still the same. I haven't had a chance to go through and check if any of the armours have been fixed/made available to craft.

I can't craft them anywhere either, despite researching them to level 3.

I couldnt find out how to craft them eighter.. i have same issue with rags as well

I recommend plated long boots for your boot needs. They have a minimum affect on speed, but provide very nice leg coverage. I find that they protect my legs better then the plate boots, and thus i wear them instead for all my guys, not just the heavily armored or the medium armored.
I wear a set of standard samuri plate pants, and the long boots, and i never have crippled legs, this is with squad population set to 2, AND soloing cannibal camps.
