Just got finished watching the series and the kenshi universe and trigun universe seem pretty similar.

funny i watched that series to and i never saw the connection between kenshi and trigun. except that Kenshi's current biome is desert. and Vash was on a desert planet.
after that the similarities stop.

Theres a few similarities, Like neither of them are on earth. Theres lost technology, Trigun has many people with robotic limbs, somthing that will be impleminted into kenshi some day. And im sure theres more just cant think of em at the moment.

Personally I would have thought Desert Punk would have been closer to the feel of kenshi
