Report a translation problem
If the character exists in the game world you can't edit the world state, as it will just flip back to whatever status the character actually is. You need to get rid of him permanently anyway, so dropping him in a pit of acid or tying him to a fogmen pole sounds like it would solve your problems.

The big different being that you need to search for Moll's ID instead. Which is:
50350-rebirth.mod
And that you need to change her status to 1 to mark her as alive again.
For whatever reason the devs named virtually every entry 0, so it takes a bit of work to find what values you want to edit.
