How To Rent Beds

So, I just got this yesterday, and there seems to be no "Mr. Floppy" in the bed buildings (Floppyhouse?) for me to talk to rent a bed. I see guards and police sleeping, but there's seemingly no way for me to rent them. Help?

You just simply walk up to a bed and click the sleep command or right click, you don't need to talk to Mr. Floppy to rent a bed.

Pick up character , and put to bed, even do not need to pay 100 coins

I do that, and it says "Bed not yours" or something along those lines.

make sure its a bed in Mr Floppies.
if its still saying bed not yours then its a bug with a recent patch.

I believe it is a bug due to recent patch.

I am finding most vendors (e.g Boot, hat traders) are using the beds themselves or at times standing next to them, the owners have been spawning in their doorways which can take a second to come into view and i have found this with Mr floopy in a couple of towns.

It came about as part of 74.10

I dare say they will be made aware of it soon enough and will fix it.

the flopphouses are not working in experimental... this is a bug that has not been fixed since reported in dec 2013 (google search to confirm). This is extreemly disapointing and frankly ruins the game for those who do not want to make a base right off the bat... its sad.. needs fixing.. can't believe its been there for so long.. anger.. dismay./.. don't want to play non experimental with no updates since i purchased years ago... please fix the issue, i'm not going to lift people and drop them in flopp beds leaving 1 guy out for the whole game.. F that

its been fixed many times and broken again many times. as it will be fixed again hopefully in the next patch.

They released 74.10 to fix a few crashes brought about 74.9 quickly and discreetly.Neko posted alink in one of the threads on these forums

I dare say 74.11 will fix the bed issues

i dont have this issue, nether on stable or experimental.
