My saves

Hey im kinda new to this game, and i played and progressed a bit and i play about 25 hours and i got aboud 400k cats. but for some reasons i had to delete the game, before i deleted the game i checked if the game have cloud save option. so i dont have to backup manually.
so i saw it had and 96mg saves are stored in cloud so i deleted the game and today i installed it but i realized my saves didnt return.
then i doubled check the save cloud option and it still says i have 96mg saves stored in cloud.
how can i get my saves from cloud ? cause they didnt get imported from cloud

Okay, gg i just realized the 96mg is actually 96mg storage is avaliable to store your save there.
so basically i lost my saves.
im disappointed honestly

No clue what it thinks is stored in the cloud, but it's not saves. The game does not support cloud saving, as they can get far too large for that service (I've seen them get over 1gb for a single save).

Unfortunately, if you didn't back them up manually, and don't still have the files, then they are gone for good. :(

Very sorry to hear this, but please know you are not alone, and it is not Kenshi's fault. On every game forum I am on, somebody will now and then loose their save progress because of steam cloud. The convenience (if that) is simply not worth the risk. Do Not use steam cloud, just disable it for all games. It is a tough 'lesson' but, yes, sorry...

Yeah, I would never bank on cloud saves for any game. I do keep them on for convenience for most games (I play from multiple machines regularly), but I keep backups of everything myself, just in case there are issues.

If you remember what tech you had unlocked, what your squad composition was, what skills and gear you had & money, we can make you a custom start with all these things. It won't bring you back any houses you built, but we can arrange equal amount of building materials for you.

Hey, thank you for your resposne, of course its not kenshi's fault, the game is good but i just saw cloud save option i thought it support cloud save. but its okay probably gonna take a break then i probably return and start over

Hey, thank you for your response. thats honestly nice of you but i didnt have any base i was just exploring the world and sell valuable stuff, but i think this will consume lots of valuable time from you, its okay i probably gonna take break and will start over again if i wanted to play again.

No, making a start is like ten minutes, tops. Most likely less than 5, if I have a full list and do not have to add more later. If that gets you back in the game, it is well worth it.

No, if you can use steam mods. List all you remember, how many people, what start you used last time, did you unlock any tech? How much money, food, first aid kits, what weapon? Did you loot anything good?

Technically I can also put it in Nexus, if needed.

No i didnt have any mods,
i had 220k cats and i had 3 ai core and about 20 books which i dont remember their name but each book had 5k value. which i was going to sell
i had companion named ruka and set

Ruka skill points were :

athletic : it was 71-75 not sure
swim : 71
hacker slash : i think 32
strength was : 32
crossbow was : 28
combat : im not sure but i think it was around 32-35
toughness : i think was around 20-30 maybe more cause i got beaten a lot
defense : around 33-35 not sure
lockpick : was exactly 40 as far i remember
sneak : was around 30
katana : i think it was around 16
perception : was 5 as far i remember
medicine : was around 16-20

Ruka items :
i honestly dont remember any name of the item but i only remember the crossbow was specialist or masterwork not sure but it was expensive and i had around 11 or 12 regular bolts
and she had expensive katana for off hand and she had a backpack which you could stack items i cant remember the name but it looked like it was handmade

all of he clothes were leather type and they were variant from high grade to specialist to the blue one type which i cant rememebr what was the name of its rarity
except her shirt which was 10kg which was chainmail specialsit or masterwork


Set Skill points :
set i just recruited it he didnt have any points only default points except he had some points in toughness cause he got beaten a lot

toughness was 20
athletic was around 37-40
swim was around maybe 15-20 not sure
sabre : was around 15-20 not sure too

he had expensive desert sabre i think it was 20k cats or something
his clothes were cheap that were looted from dead body except his backpack was small brown backpack
and he had 3 cube food

My main character which was male human skill points :

defense : was around 37

combat was at that same level around 36-37
sabre : was around 35-37
athletic : was 74 if im not mistaken
swim : was 72 i think

blunt : was 5 or might it got increased more not sure but last thing i remember it was 5

sneak : was around 40
lockpick : was around 30
thievery : i think was 20
strength : i think it got around 30-32
dex : i think it got around 15-18 not sure
thoughness : i think was around 35-40 not sure
medicine : was around 20-25


all of his clothes were materwork if im not mistaken. and he had black theivery medium size backpack.
and he had same desert sabre as my companion set had.
and he had blunt for his off hand which was expensive too.
and i had expensive hacker slash in my inventory which weight was 19kg.
and i had a big medkit and big splint kit and meduim size medicine and few small size bandage

and three of my characters last location were near main base of hive near the armoury outpost in abondoned outpost were hiding

thats all i can remember.
