you need
Rum
Bread
Textiles
Med Kits
loaded into it. there are some other items they sell but don't seem to be across the board at the moment or confirmed.
Set town to Public
Set Door to Public

Be near a trade route or town.Hope that your lucky enough to get traders into your store to buy for right now trading is very iffy and bugged.

trades dont buy loot from the people you striped after combat.

Well crap haha
Also, make sure the door to the building is always open and unlocked, and the building is set to public along with your base. they also stop buying when their inventory is full, so its pointless to have mutiple shops in your base.

I can confirm those items as well.

Chainmail Sheets
Armour Plating
Steel Bars

Items you can't sell yet for sure,
Weapons, armours, building materials, raw ressources.
I still have a doubt about fabrics.

All storages of the usable ressources should be in the store.
So you can easily move the ressources from the storages to the counter.

What the hell is that? I hope you are not trolling.

Anyway,

with this last update you SHOULD have someone manning your shop. Why, because bandits steal stuff now, and if you have any storage in there, then your shop will be a target. So you should have someone on guard duty now.

Also, the current pathfinding system will be replaced with an improved one, so this type of walking behavor seen in the caravans will (hopefully) go away.

Has anyone tried buying a house in one of the npc cities and
building a shop counter inside to see if that would work better?

Been meaning to test this but havent found the time.

I did, except It wouldnt let me buy any houses :/
left click on the door of the hosue you want to buy.

They might. HOWEVER, From what i have read on the fourms, some people have built forges in the towns, and sell weapons to the shops. I assume that they bring in the steel and hemp from somewhere else.

Hmm I guess building my outpost in the middle of nowhere down south wasn't such a good idea, I have 4 cities around me but I've never had a single visitor that's not a starving bandit mob so the shop counter is fairly useless for me, which isn't such a huge deal as I can fill some guys trader's backpacks and send them to any of the nearest towns and sell stuff, but it would be nice to have visitors >.<

Also I'm getting fairly sure that nothing but hungry bandits spawn in that area.

Keep in mind that when the pathfinding system is fixed, that the traders might work better too.

I haven't even seen any travelling traders since the last few updates...only groups of mercenaries and samurai.
