General Shop Never Opens in Squin?

It used to open, now it never is. The door is locked and everything.

Is there a shopkeeper? If they've been killed there may not be anyone left to open the shop in the day.

Save your game. At night, sneak and pick the lock to the building, see if anyone's inside.

You may have to Import your save file, this will repopulate the game world with the correct settings selected on the import screen

DO NOT Shift+F12 ''reset population'' it will break your game.

Look for "Shops Regenerate", it seems to work well if you leave the area for a bit. There are other mods also that deal with this issue.

its almost like we should be able to buy the shop or after a week an NPC spawns to run it lol

Thank you everyone, I re-imported the game and the shop keeper is now alive again. I tried the mod, "Shops Regenerate" but I tried leaving the area and nearly got my entire team killed, LOL. It might work, the mod, but I'm not sure how far you really have to go.
