so it comes down to which one you like more.
though steam will have more mods.
There have also been cases where mod authors have pushed out broken Workshop updates on purpose.
It's possible to move Workshop mods out of Steam's Workshop folders and into the game's own dedicated mods folder, after which you can unsubscribe from them and then just let them sit there. If you can find Nexus versions of all the mods you want, though, then you may just find it easier to go with those.
Only indirectly related, but others may want to know, and defo not common knowledge. You can download kenshi steam workshop mods if you have game at GOG (like I do), follow this: https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/discussions/18446744073709551615/3172198151270641838/?appid=233860
Also, have read people complain about the workshop, others advise them to download their mods and keep an offline backup. I don't use workshop so think had something to do with mods auto-updating and wrecking save games?
