How to stack items?

Whats the command to stack items?

hit the arrange button in your inventory.

I do but it wont stack anything .. like ore or bolts

Most items don't stack unless they're in a wooden backpack, animal backpack, or storage. And stolen items won't stack with non-stolen ones.

depends on the backpack your using, not all items stack

Some of the bolts you get as loot will not stack, I do not know why. But ore should if you have the correct Backpack.

Stolen won't mix if from a different owner.

I figured it had to due with the loot itself, just not sure what exactly. Looting a dead body = stolen. I did not know that, thank you.

I never steal anything in all the years I have played, so had no reference.

yeah, stolen loot. anything you take from a body will not stack. you have to put it in proper storage in your base to remove the stolen status and make it stackable again.

Pretty sure it can stack, as long as its from the same person. Or at least i doubt a mod meddled with it as i remember putting different stolen bolts in a body, so they stack if i pick them again.

Weirdly then looting Narcos trap item in containers are not flagged stolen but items in the open are stolen from security spiders. But if you kill robot spiders the death items are not stolen.

Or you can just put the items with the stolen tag into one of the generic containers inside Narko's Trap and the tag will be removed, allowing you to stack them.
