I have certainly gotten my money's worth from Kenshi. Each playthrough is fresh and interesting. You never know what will happen next. Just survive. And play until you finally get wiped out. The game is that simple. Then just start over.

That might be fun. But I like starting over. If my settlement gets too good the game gets too stable. The thrill is the uphill battle to survive. And taking on dangerous places and challenging the badness.

Hell yeah! I passed 4200 hours this month. This game has become my comfort pastime, sometimes I just leave it running in the background once I've got a nice base cooking. It's always fun to come back and see what might've developed!

Curious, after all that time which mods are on your permanent list, if any. Vanilla game and economy was too easy for me to loot/sell and have bags of cash.

Have you Considered trying one of the difficulty mods? It will make the 'pain' last much longer into mid-high game.

Not endorsing this one in particular, but I currently use Enhanced Survival Challenge, and have edited the mod's .xml file to my personal preference, since 'Enhanced' is subjective.

What always stops me to get really deep in my gameplay is the broken economy. I like to see a living market, but Kenshi just drop this ball at some point in the save.

Yea me to getting to a heady 113 hours of game play.
But to be fair, I'd not played for 4 years before I picked it up again. Just put another 30 hours into it and I'm still a complete noob.

Every play through for me is refreshing. Though I play my games like an absolute maniac.
One of my favorites in recent years was setting up a base in Gut from the very start, turning the nest and squad multipliers to max, and trying to survive.

I did indeed get wiped often. Though my Nuzlocke/XCOM blood easily just keeps retrying, and I made a run stick finally. From there I expanded, threw units at beaks until they were chads. From there, I liberated slaver camps, and dared any UC troops to come into the gutter infested zone and deal with me.

Чел, для этого люди играют в новые, альтернативные старты, ставят моды, или особые цели нового забега. Игра реиграбельна. Если ты этого не понимаешь - то совершенно не обязательно доводить до других то, что им не будет интересно от тебя услышать.
