How to make a character's health infinite
I will show you how to make your character's health infinite.
1. Start FCS
2. Click "Open any" on the tab
3. Open the .platoon file in which the character you want to change is saved.
4. Lots of 0's and character names come up
5. Click "Changes" on the tab
6. Open an item whose Item name is "0" and type name is "MEDICAL_STATE"
7. Enter "∞" in the item named flesh
8. Termination
Now you can make your character's health infinite.

I gotta admit, I'm shocked this works. But it does. Makes the health on that part infinite.

Though it's mostly useful for skeletons, as bloodloss still applies, and the infinite value doesn't work there. So even if you don't get hurt as much, you're still gonna bleed out and get knocked out pretty easily, unless you're a skeleton who practically doesn't bleed.

Love this experimental nature of some people.

"If it bleeds - we can kill it." :D

I think this is the first use of "∞" I have seen on steam forum... (^u^)
Hundreds or even a thousand fogmen died to bring this bit of info, Skeletons won't die when they have infinite health and a body part gets full wear damage (200) however they will get a stat debuff if that happens (so 200 wear on the chest will result in a -100% strength and dex modifier). So hivers might be better if you don't want to pay for or use a skeleton repair bed.

Was a fun experiment, limbs were everywhere.

Thanks I guess, did not exactly understand how to do it, but ok :)).\
EDIT: Actually did it.

[THIS POST IS LONG BUT ILL PUT ***v next to spots if you only want to skim read]
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ i didn't know you could use that character LOL.

Also you guys if you really want can just use cheat engine or something but that depends if you feel like having it open.
I dunno what the number value for health is but it's probably a float the basic steps for future readers this applies to anything in the game that has a number you can manipulate or can stack for example throwing some items in your stackable backpack then manipulating the stack.
*** v
1. open cheat engine
2. select kenshi exe (the button for picking an exe should be glowing when you open)
3. type your health/item amount in the search bar
4. press "first scan" or whatever
5. change your health or item # somehow, get hit then pause, remove an item from the stack etc.
6. type the new number in and press the other scan button (i think Next Scan but idr off top)
7. repeat steps 5-6 until theres only 1 number in the left side panel it should be whatever your health or item# is that you're manipulating
8. double click that number
9. in the bottom panel, set it to whatever you want by double clicking the amount on the right side
10. press the square so an X appears to "freeze" the number there until you close cheatengine

ez I dunno if this will help anyone but it can be useful for many things not just cheating your health.
*** v
brief example in words instead of a list:
say i have 5 building materials in my backpack stacked
scan the number 5, remove a building material (1) from the stack, put it on the ground or in inventory. Scan the number 4, there should be significantly less numbers. Remove another and scan the number 3. You should by now probably only have 1 number show up on the left. If not, add the other two building materials back to the pile and scan the number 5. Once you have 1 number, double click that address to add it to the bottom, then you double click where it says 5 and set it to... say idk 456.
The stack is now 456.

side warning: THE GAME DOES NOT LIKE THIS IN YOUR BAG.
Drop it on the ground somewhere nice like inside your base where it wont despawn or something
then have your workers cart it off to the storage or what have you. If you slide it to a new inventory slot this weird ghost stack will appear and it will fill your bag as much as possible then drop the rest. To deal with this just drop everything and pick up the ghost slot and then set it back in a normal slot like any other item.
***v
Most gigantic numbers will roll over or not affect anything above their cap. Like I'm sure setting your strength to 999 will not actually be 999 worth of strength but who knows
Again many ways to use it not just for cheating but there's 2 examples of how to do it the way God intended

one use case if if you're building a MASSIVE base or something you can use this to stack all of your building materials in the c enter of town for example and then your construction bros only need to walk back and forth to keep building.

But... How did you even come to try putting a ∞ as a value? And why does that even work? I have so many questions.

Interesting 'proof of concept', but, why play with such an exploit? It would just be boring.

Well, why not make an enemy that needs to be bled out?

Like Talos from Jason and the Argonauts, they had to bleed him out essentially.

Can't you already reduce it in vanilla to almost 0 via slider?
E: only to 8x time via slider.
A higher timeframe has to be done in FCS.
