This is the worst RPG I've played since the 80's and 90's on a PC.

I bought this game way back in 2013, and played for 30 minutes. The controlls were cumbersome, the UI sucked, and there was nothing to it yet. In my opinion this game should not have been offered for money when it was still years away from completion. I spent about 15$ thinking it would be a good game. I played RPGs on a comodore 64 that were made better than this game. You have no way to complain to customer support other than on Twitter??/ I'm guessing ya'll are nothing but greedy young people, and like most people under 45, you have no idea how customer service is really supposed to be. This is the only place i could find on steam or your website to complain. Apparently the release date was in 2018. I have looked at the screenshots and it still looks like lousy stick figure animation. You are welcome for the $15 for 30 minutes of struggling to move a character around in an incomplete environment.

To sum it up: 1. No one but moderators allowed to post on your steam forum. Why? No reason for that, unless you are trying to avoid dealing with unhappy customers.

2.No way too contact customer support other than a tweet??? Why no email address? No phone @? Again, because you don't want to deal with your customers.

3. When you run a business, you don't design it so it is more convenient for the owner and employees at the expense of your customer's satisfaction. On the contrary, you should be going out of your way to make your customers happy. But quite frankly Customer service doesn't really exist anymore the way it's supposed to be. You can thank technology for a lot of that. Makes me want to fart.

Actually it died around 1989 when they started making waitress report there tickets and had to pay 15% because they were getting over on their tips. It was a sow prices but by 2010 it is no longer practised, and young people think they should get tipped for ringing yup a cup of coffee, idiots....

I never said how old I was, judging by your reaction and the type of games you are into, and how much time you got on this one, i can see why you are such a fan boy. But you should know that if you really don't like a thread, the best thing to do is not reply, that way it doesn't get bumped. I don't hide anything son, i got my real city and my real name on my account. I played RPGs when I was growing up. I read fantasy all the time too. But that all ended for me when i got into my 40's. I think you are a punk kid hung up on RPGs like I used to be. And for the record, there ain't nothing "karen" about me. FYI i think you should find out what "karen" means before you throw the word around. It has nothing to do with asking to talk to your supervisor.

Well OP, have you played the game in 2023? If you only played ten years ago you do not know what the game has to offer now. Yeah sure, the graphics are the same cause the engine did not change, but there are way much content now, in vanilla and in mods.

What brings you back to these forums now so long after your 30 minutes? Something must have got your eye, did you spot a discount? Was the game really so bad in 2013 that you are still angry about it? I am sad to hear that. Back in 2013 Chris was alone and had a 'day'job as a night guard. I am not surprised he had no time or knowhow how to customer care. Kenshi in that sense has never been a 'real business', for Chris it was a passion project. All the success came later and now they have an actual team working on K2. I am also assuming the customer care part will also be staffed with professionals.

I hope you will find a game you can totally enjoy without any off putting parts.

I'll keep posting the link to 'Making of Kenshi' as long as it is relevant, and never more so than this thread. If OP only played 30 min of Kenshi in 2013, then sure, their opinion is likely spot on because it wasn't much of a game back then.

Flash forward to release 2018 and now. So, OP just reinstall and play the game since you appear to own a copy. Your thread may be interpreted as just a whinge fest for reasons that no longer exist.

OP since you bought Kenshi to support an indie developer back in 2013 (and truly hat's off to you for doing so!!!) you must be into indie games and so might really enjoy the more recent 2018 release version. Truth!

Just give it a try, but of course know it is not a perfect game, it has it's own quirks and graphics 'charm', and looks like a game from the 2000's era as you already know, but many of us find it beautiful, at least I do.

When talk of Kenshi 2 happens I always post that I hope devs don't loose that Kenshi gfx charm; it's a look that those who can appreciate abstract art (or at least Impressionist era) really grow to love. I rotate my desktop image, several have been Kenshi screenshots, I like it that much. Enjoy!
