Yet Another Case of Missing Bayan (YACMB)
Hi, need some help. After a gnarly 40 minute battle, Blister Hill toppled and Phoenix is on alive, on the shoulder of Cyber-Beep. But Bayan is nowhere to be found... I have checked Admag, Squin, Bad Teeth, and Stack.

In Stack* reside 4 of the 5 Invincibles and no Bayan, in the Faction HQ.

Is there another sneaky place he may be?
And if I import my save with dead NPCs, I'll have to redo the Blister Hill fight, correct?

He should be in Stack if it's Shek owned. But the game doesn't always handle moving unique NPCs very well.

And importing with the import Dead NPCs option checked would not respawn Blister Hill, as long as the Phoenix is dead, unconscious, or in a cage at the time of the import. And you shouldn't need to un-check that option, even if Bayan really is missing, as it's unlikely he's missing due to be killed, but rather just a bugged spawn.

Thank you for your response. I am currently researching up to build a prison cell where I will place and import the save. Also, Stack is were the HQ is and the 4/5 invicibles, not Admag, my bad. I'll see if this import works!

This is some freaky stuff, so after importing with and without Dead NPCS checked, Phoenix disappears from my grasp (Caged or unconscious). Should I just suck it up and hand him over to the UC? Lol

He will always disappear on import, all non-player characters are removed on import. The checking of that box just changes whether already defeated unique NPCs will respawn or not.

If checked, they will not respawn, and their current status will be preserved in the data, even though they are removed from the game world. So for instance, if they are imprisoned at the time of import, they will be removed, but still considered imprisoned for world state purposes.

If unchecked, all unique NPCs will respawn, regardless of their status at the time of import. Functionally resetting the world to its original state.

Oh I understand now, thank you.
