I use the mod too and never noticed an issue though tonight il try reproduce your issue
FYI, I have GOG version of Kenshi, and D/Led the ESC 2.5 mod before steam closed the browser access to workshop. Now I cannot even post to the workshop discussion. Mod author recently posted they do not check nexus forum.
May be a mod conflict, but pretty sure I have nothing else installed that would affect construction files.
So to troubleshoot I put Wind Gen on flat level surface (before was on hill behind main settlement building - but char could 'reach' and work on it).
Even on flat level surface, the char began adding materials, then stopped/stood up, so prompted them again to 'build' and they started again (can see progress slider second time), but once slider done then they stopped again. Further prompting only results in "I don't have any building materials" and yet the required 5 copper plates are still left in char inventory...
I can build to completion (fan spinning) the small Wind Generator, but building the larger Wind Gen immediately after (with all materials in back pack) results in same failure. So I'm at a loss, why are the copper plates not being taken out of char inventory to complete the build? Copper directly inside Char back pack when told to build...
Another Mod conflict? I'm trying to see in FCS if this is the case, but again, not well experienced with this tool, but have resolved mod conflicts in BGS and CDPR games, so not complete noob to modding.
The small wind generator, and the level 2 large one, both require electrical components instead. And so there is no confusion on materials.
OK will try, but yeah, raw copper not making sense in context AFAIC...
To make matters worse, it actually used to use electrical components, and got swapped off for some unknown reason. It certainly is an oddity. :P
