Maybe I'm blind, but... repair kits?
So, I've started a group game, with 6 mighty and nobal Skeletons. However, they are kinda screwed atm due to not having any repair kits and the town they start in doesn't sell them. Is there anything I can do? My guys have had a few encounters and things are starting to look grim for them.

Down south, there are towns where you can buy repair kits. You can't buy them in any Holy Nation towns.

Hive Villages normally sells Repair kits. But they are not cheap, if i recall they are sold for 3.000 Cats each.

Holy Nation Kill's Skeletons on sight, so dont expect to find it there as stated above.

Hive villages, and you can find them in the skeleton-friendly towns (mongrel, hub, waystation) - they're 3k+ cats, yeah.
you can build a robotics bench to manufacture them, but i can't currently find a motor, which is a required ingredient; and i haven't done the import->build hack, that'll be my last try

See, this is another problem, Waystation (far southeast) is only 2 buildings and neither sell kits, and I got... magically to Hub once, but it was a destroyed town.

I've seen repair kits in Waystation, I guess you just were unlucky

They look like repair kits is the big thing, I didn't notice them at first becuase i mistook them for large repair kits first time I saw them, but they are super expensive or were, not really worth it in current state to run a robot squad, sure as the map opens up more they will be adapated better for use in the game, but for now to me at least holy sword seems to be the closes to polished faction we got, and they hate all non humans, hive and the rest are kind of place holders so you can leave holy sword turf.

Hub is mostly destroyed, but the bar there is VERY useful. vendor for weapons, trade goods, 25k gold for selling large things, stuff to steal, and a pretty big set of useful bar patrons.

Hub is the ONLY place i've found weapons for sale

Every major city has a weapon shop. All the holy ones, mongrel, hub has the combined shop. I think some military bases do too, but I can only confirm the cities.
The sign is a black sword hanging from a post, different from the banner signs of other stores, so you might've missed them.

oh okay i may have been over cautius. having a female warband we get arrested just walking into any building.

I can confirm this: I started out near Waystation (Freedom Seekers), and they had one (1) repair kit at the time. I went out to do some stuff and the next time I went back, they had none for sale. I eventualy settled near Waystation, (don't ask me why; it is a huge pain/that which does not kill you, I guess) and I am pretty sure I have only ever seen a repair kit for sale there once or twice since then. As far as I can tell, Waystation vendors restock every 2-3 ingame days. I am on game day 21. Hope this helps.

Edit: Spelling

waystation always sells repair kits now - I start with the freedom seekers start and it always starts there and I always see robot kits - also yes its 2 buildings but its a waystation not a city - I got a base just NE of that location I'm using it waiting on the map expansions since its easily got a good area around it

robot kits are however expensive so if you want to play a skelleton based campain I recommend starting at waystation after using the construction kit to give you +10k cats - this will allow you to purchase the 3 repair kits right off the bat and start a skell town - my town consists of 6 sheks 4 skells 4 humans and around 12 random human slaves I managed to get working for me after they came asking for help - there is a small town NE of me of holy troops but they don't give me any issues as I built my defense walls to funnel bandit / holy patrols into each other keeping them pretty busy (and me pretty looting heh) since both sides are busy I run my old soldier up there grab the swords and armor (DO NOT WEAR HOLY ARMOR) and sell it to the waystation then I send my 2 human soldiers who I use as pack mules to the hub and the holy towns across the river

I set my soon to be traders as my storage people so they run all over base - my 2 main traders are weightless now in full packs since I filled there packs up with stone early on (and as such stone is not on the drop off list) so they been jogging around with full packs for like 40-50 days and can now just run past enemies with their sandles

Are you sure about that? I don't mean to doubt you but, in my experience they seem to be randomly sold on random days (if at all). In my game, multiple days will go by before I see another Repair Kit. Just asking for clarity.

Edit: At Waystation

I just chalk this up to believe but verify questions
from what I've seen I had a custom game I made for kicks - had 10 skells and 4 robot spiders (used the construction tools to make my army) and it had them every 2-3 days when I jogged by I did it mostly for lols a week ago to see how they would do - actually was pretty profitable since with no food needed they actually sold all the food they made for usefull supplies they were able to snag 1-2 kits every few days when I had the cash for them - I've never seen the shop owner not have them when I went looking (so long as it wasn't really soon to each other)

Ah! I see. That makes sense.
