How do I get water?

So I found this well in a town and I wanted to get water so I clicked on it and my character is doing an animation so I though ok... she's getting water.... I wanted for ages and nothing...

So how do i get water from a well? I need water for my crops... I'm only on day 5 so I'm new.

either just left click on it, or right click menu->loot

theres a bar that fills up, when its full the well will get a water in its inventory, then you just have to pick it up

Sorry I'm new to the game I tried using a well that was not mine lol I didn't build my own aha

If its a powered well, it may not have power. Thats a fairly common problem with wells in the HN farms. They tend to have powered wells with no generators or windmills to power them so... uh... yeah. No water. I bet they blame Narko for it.
