Rebirth slaves refuse to leave
Hello I am playing as escaped slaves, after 167 days I returned to Rebirth where I started with huge army of 50 warriors with 50-60 stats. Masterwork ourobos armor, meitou, luxury and edge 3 type weapons literally steamrolling over rebirth guards. Noones health dropped beyond 50%. HN limbs literally went flying on initial charge.
Yet slaves refuse to leave when I liberate them. They literally expect me to pay them to leave rebirth. Otherways they just return in their cages. What to do? What is happening? This is super anticlimactic. I expected it will be my huge army liberating everyone and leaving rebirth with mobs of slaves cheering behind them. What can cause this bug? Why wont they leave?

Never heard of slaves demanding payment to leave. That sounds like a mod to me personally.

But even in vanilla not all slaves will try and escape with you. Some are simply too afraid to even try. Terrified they are going to be punished just because you released them. All depends on the personality they spawn with.

I guess so. I unsubed mod to recruit slaves in workshop tho with no effect. :/ Idk which else may cause this. I also got recruit prisoner.

I'm not sure Rebirth can ever actually be liberated without mods. Maybe it changes with the world state if you take out the HN leaders? Not sure....

In vanilla, freed slaves only have a slight chance of joining you, and a significant percentage of them will be too terrified to escape at all (even if you've slaughtered every HN/UC soldier in sight). Yes, it's kind of disappointing.

:/ I guess I will come back and clean them up all then. Hopefully this will be in Kenshi 2. :)
