I might be missing something obvious here. Does it need like 10 stone before it starts working?
Could it be that it was built there before the wind generator? I built the processor pretty far away from the first generator and I don't know the range of them so built the second one next it.
another problem i have...example i have 3 stone mines and 1 stone processor then behind that i have 4 storage buildings for building matrials that each can hold 100.
my engineers instead of grabbing the building materials to make things i have to manually put my engineer by the stone processor and add building materials to his inventory. i have to be very careful b/c if he passes by the building material storage he will automatically deposit the building materials into storage.
sometimes i just drop the materials on the ground and sometimes they pick them up and use them for proper function ie building a wall around my base but usually they just pick them up and take them back to the bin. maybe i'm doing something wrong. thanks for help:)
i'll try to dismantle my iron processor and see if that works.
place i'm talking about is east of squnn, south east of that king bounty guy that one of the guides says can get day 1 with mercenary help with 35-40k bounty. its on a big flat platough with a ruined settlement in the distance as well as a waystation very close and settled nomads that sell animals to the south.
It was just bugged. I built a new one in the same spot and it's working fine.
Buildings including mines etc. may be created beyond the base/town placement boundary (e.g. using in-game editor shift-12). Over time as town expands, its boundary would expand eventually to catch up (dynamically) with those previously non-functioning buildings so they would start working correctly.
The obvious sign may be "no power" but the not-so-obvious one is ownership (faction-less). One quick fix is to use in-game editor (shift-F12),click "Town Placement" at top left then scroll down to select "Your Outpost" at the end of the list then drag the statue symbol at the town-centre to shift the town boundary to include the non-functioning buildings.
