Stone Processor III no power?
I have two windmills at full power, one literally right next to the processor, and it still says it has no power. The only other powered structure is a research bench. The processor is currently being used and I tried turning it on and off.

What gives?

do they say they belong to you?

Think it does. One of my guys is trying to use it too

I might be missing something obvious here. Does it need like 10 stone before it starts working?

I dismantled it and built a new one. New one works fine.

Could it be that it was built there before the wind generator? I built the processor pretty far away from the first generator and I don't know the range of them so built the second one next it.

i'm stumped on this as well. tier 1 is manual. but even tier 1 i had problems. i saw the 5 ore sitting in there when i assigned a worker to it nothing happened. then i upgraded it to tier 2 procesor i have 6 windmills the big ones with average wind speed of 16 plus 2 backup generators with 10 barrels of fuel in each and mine still says no power. i've tried searching the web for helping figuring out why it won't work and i can't. any help would be appreciated.

another problem i have...example i have 3 stone mines and 1 stone processor then behind that i have 4 storage buildings for building matrials that each can hold 100.

my engineers instead of grabbing the building materials to make things i have to manually put my engineer by the stone processor and add building materials to his inventory. i have to be very careful b/c if he passes by the building material storage he will automatically deposit the building materials into storage.

sometimes i just drop the materials on the ground and sometimes they pick them up and use them for proper function ie building a wall around my base but usually they just pick them up and take them back to the bin. maybe i'm doing something wrong. thanks for help:)

i'll try to dismantle my iron processor and see if that works.
it does require mats inside before it starts

another issue i've had is one spot in my base there is a invisible wall and my guys get stuck. its next to one of the iron mines i have. one close to the main road. i originally had placed the iron storage bin very close to the mine so close that the guy mining didn't even have to move. but once that first bin was full and had to move to the 2nd he got stuck. after that i decided to space out my bins so they have to walk farther.

place i'm talking about is east of squnn, south east of that king bounty guy that one of the guides says can get day 1 with mercenary help with 35-40k bounty. its on a big flat platough with a ruined settlement in the distance as well as a waystation very close and settled nomads that sell animals to the south.

yea my iron processor has 5 materials inside and still shows no power even with 6 wind mills and 2 generators. i'll try to dismantle it and try again. i've been having to buy my iron plates which has been a minor setback. luckily i have 2 pack animals that can haul tons in stacks of 5 or 6.
check the power areas first, make sure they belong to you and not some other town.

It had mats, 8 mats.

It was just bugged. I built a new one in the same spot and it's working fine.

Sometimes locations for buildings seem bugged for no obvious reason. I built an ore mine in a spot, and the engineers wouldn't auto-build it and I had to manually assign them. Then the guy I assigned to work the mine wouldn't either. It was completely accessible, just invisible I guess. It was close to another mine that I built and worked just fine. I dismantled it and rebuilt a bit over, worked fine.

Town Placement issue may cause the problems being reported & discussed in this thread.

Buildings including mines etc. may be created beyond the base/town placement boundary (e.g. using in-game editor shift-12). Over time as town expands, its boundary would expand eventually to catch up (dynamically) with those previously non-functioning buildings so they would start working correctly.

The obvious sign may be "no power" but the not-so-obvious one is ownership (faction-less). One quick fix is to use in-game editor (shift-F12),click "Town Placement" at top left then scroll down to select "Your Outpost" at the end of the list then drag the statue symbol at the town-centre to shift the town boundary to include the non-functioning buildings.

Devs should have had add power cables to hook up from electricity to power machines so it would prevent this kind of time wasting bug. Maybe Kenshi 2.
