Where are a Skeleton's eyes?
So... if you look at a Skeleton's face they have these two horizontal strips of medal right below their forehead. For the longest time even though it makes no sense I thought of those strips as their eyes.

Today I noticed when as the sun rose that the three little circles on their forehead glinted in the light the same way that Hivers eyes do, and then realized for the first time that these might be lenses and it completely changed the way I had been looking at the Skeleons' faces.

Great discussion topic I know, but now I'm kind of curious, which facial feature is meant to be their eyes?

Given that their eyes are supposed to be made of glass, I'd say it's the circles. The strips don't look like they're made of glass to me.

I always assumed it was the circles anyway. But looking at it now, I can totally see how you could think the strips could be eyes.

Unless the captain or his crew come in, we may never know...

He thought the mouth was some kind of perception other than optics. When I first saw one that was my initial thought too, but shortly after I realized they had those glass optics... makes them look really lame. I really hate the vanilla robat heads, ugly and stupid. I hope they impliment new ones.

But... the skeleton eye items are square, and the bars do have a different shade of grey, almost like a glass-like grey. Those circles are the same colour as the metal, so I don' think they're eyes.

Well that settles it, I've been looking at them wrong the entire time.

Regarding color, yeah I didn't originally think the three circles on the head were lenses because of the color too, thought they were just some design or a headlamp that was suppose to go on for the skeletons at night. But the lenses on the head will turn blue / glint at the right angle, which is what originally caused me to second guess.

Thanks all - now to go force my mind to see the face the correct way, not easy...
