I cant seem to find stuff like wheat straw and cactis in shops. Where do you find it?

i find most my stuff in waystation, Hub, Small Settlement and hive villages.

Yes, waystation, sitting high on a rock in a rocky area, where they are unable to grow anything, yet have hemp in abundance, while a city lke blister hill which is surrounded by farms, doesnt have any, or very little farm stuff.

(latest map) Wheat Straw can be bought from shops that have the scales sign out in front of them. Not sure how HaTsUnE_NeKo is getting them from hive villages since the sell only Riceweed. You'll need to scour Holy Nation cities unfortunately.
Or you can take it from the Holy Farms if they've actually grown some in the fields.
Cactus is found also in shops with the scales sign, but in very small supplies.
I visit Blister Hill and Stack for supplies mostly.

A more risky method (also very hit and miss) is to wait until midnight and break into buildings to swipe goods lying on the counters/shelves/containers.
Some shops have a plethora of stuff lying around that they don't even sell.
