or you might have a mod that might be interfering with it.
I noticed the arrows either side of the names in the Build Menu, but nothing has shown up the Skin Storage up to now, at least as far as I recall. I'll give that another go. Cheers guys. :)
Have a look under:
STORAGE: RAW >> Storage: Death Items - Click on the arrows until you reach a 'Skins' storage box :)
Ah, right, I shall look out for that. Sometimes the Tech is very muddled. I wish they'd design it in a graphical Tech Tree style so that it makes more sense. The game wikis aren't much help really and just cause more confusion.
Never mind, the storage mod will do until the game mysteriously lets me learn what I need. Thanks guys. :)
Well, it's not a "live", realtime chat but this forum IS sort of the Kenshi chat group, in a loose sense. Have a look at a topic someone posted, add your own reply to someone with "Quote" or just add a comment of your own.
Really this post of yours should have been a "New Discussion", rather than randomly inserted in an existing topic. Some peoplke get really irritaed when people do that. You'll get the hang of it though.
Tech level 2 -> Industry -> Storage Boxes: Crafting
unlocks: Storage: Chainmail, Storage: Leather, Storage: Armour Plate, Fabric Chest, Storage: Skins, Storage: Meat
Vanilla Build menu
STORAGE -> Storage: Skins
Mods often change this however, so it could be anywhere especially if you have an overhaul or camping style mod in use.
eg
Research
lvl1 -> Core -> Storage Fundamentals
lvl1 ->Storage ->Storage Skins
Build
STORAGE -> Animal Parts ->(use side arrows) ->Storage Skins
There is also an inconsistency in naming and Capitalisation makes a difference making it possible for similar groups to form in the build menus or research but appear unpopulated because a mod has shifted some but not all to another category.
eg Storage / STORAGE / Storages etc.
This is also assuming mod incompatibilities haven't kicked in and hidden or invalidated a section.
Edit: One also assumes that the right tech bench and appropriate lvl upgrade has been built, its not always necessary to use them but often a pre-requisite to own it.
That's very kind of you! I'll copy that and save it for reference. :)
