What does the Holy Nation do to captured skeletons?

I went up to a gate in Stack the other day with a skeleton in my party to see what would happen, long story short there was a big fight and they put us in jail. All of our sentences expired a week ago and we're just waiting to be released, but they seem pretty content to just let us sit here. I could just make a run for it but I'm curious at this point, is something supposed to happen when a skeleton is captured?

Through the course of the fight my faction became 'hostile' to the HN, so I don't know if that's throwing a wrench in the works, but if they're not going to let us go I figured somebody would've come by to pick us up and bring us to a work camp or something by now. They did release one of us early on, but I'm assuming that's because I had her put the rest of her slaver disguise on while no one was looking and they didn't recognise her as being part of the player faction anymore. Is Stack just an out of the way part of the Holy Nations territory so no one cares enough to do anything with us or what?

They leave you on the ground to either reboot and maybe limp away or simply die. They don't capture Skeletons at all. I mean, at least, they've never captured one of mine. Every time in my early playthroughs that I got beaten down as a Skeleton, they just left me there in a heap.

They don't do anything special with them. Lore-wise they'd be executed, incinerated and disassembled. And there were plans for a system where the HN executed certain people, but it was never implemented. So skeletons are treated much the same way as anyone else, except that when freed they'll just be attacked and thrown in jail again. Eventually a caravan from Rebirth will come and transport them to Rebirth.

Really? Why did they never capture me? I mean, literally maybe 3 or 4 times I got wrecked by them inside Holy Nation territory and they just left me there with my oil leaking out onto the ground. I had no idea that they even bother capturing you.

Okay, so something would happen eventually. It's been like 13-14 days of us sitting in this cell at this point so I think I'm just going to load a save from earlier and make like a tree and leave, but that's good to know! Thank you for replying so fast, maybe the ai will have the ability to execute people in Kenshi 2 lol.

They'll only capture you if it's one of the town guards that takes you out. The vast majority of HN soldiers will just leave you on the ground, no matter who you are.

That actually makes sense, because even when I was chased by gate guards, it was wandering Paladins who brought me down, and I guess I was too far away from Stack or Blister Hill for the guard AI to decide I should be carried back to town.

Isn't there a skeleton shredder or something of the sort in the game? Why doesn't HN have those?

The shredders only act like corpse furnaces in the game. It doesn't actually allow you to grind up a skelly.
