Big enough house for tier 2 stuff (Research bench 2)

My last game I got murdered because I was not prepared, this game I bought a house in Squinn. I researched all that I can, but the house is not big enough for lvl 2 ressearch bench. So what should I do?

Buy a bigger house.

Long houses and Y houses can fit bigger research and crafting benches

Stormhouses can fit any-sized research bench(but not much else.)

You can fit all levels of research benches inside Squin. I have a max level one currently there so it can be done. Squin is a nice town if you're willing to buy all of the houses in it because it's very secure and there's lots of minerals just outside the gates, and many stores to buy crafted wares.

After entering longhouse, turn to right and put level 2 research bench back to the wall's end. I was able to fit all types of crafting bench, except for robotics, into 2 longhouses in Heng. Squinn has 4 longhouses you can buy, so that's still plenty of room.

Storm House can fit the largest research benches, and you get a little bit more room to play with on the roof. However, you should really look into a Y house, which can fit everything you'd need except hydroponics (high tech level) all in one building. But then, you can always buy another building and put your crops in there.

Just found Squinn on one of my last game sessions. A little neater and more well lit than the others I've been to. I think I'd like to settle there, except for all the snooty Snek that live there already. I think I was lucky my leading character is a Snek Vagabond (Yes, I did start a new game as a Snek Vagabond, who teamed up with two cooks. A Female Greenlander and Scorchlander each.)
